chicago shakers was established in 2001, as a members-only social club for professional, adult singles in the Chicagoland-area. Our goal is to consistently provide our members with an array of opportunities to try new things and make new friends in a wonderfully relaxed and pressure-free group environment.

antonieta is originally from Cali, Colombia, but has lived in Chicago since the age of 16. As co-owner of Chicago Shakers, she puts her vast knowledge of the city to good use. When she’s not planning unique activities and exciting events for the Shakers, Antonieta can be found hanging out with her nieces and nephews, or chilling out with a gin n’ tonic at La Taberna—not at the same time, of course!

carmel is a Chicago Shaker member since 2005. Carmel truly understands what members expect from the social club experience. She views each event as an opportunity to create a social-club-groove that’s fun and fantastic for everyone. Between working full-time as a software consultant and meeting up with potential club members, Carmel enjoys golf, hanging out with her sisters in the suburbs or unwinding with a vodka cocktail—sometimes all at the same time!

strawberry is Shakers mascot, who enjoys socializing with all Shakers friends, one of them been Bongo! Bongo and Strawberry met at the Greece Fantasy Cruise which was organizaed by Singles Travel International. You will find her in Facebookand in many of the Singles Travel trips.
